Preguntas frecuentes
6. ¿Cuánto capital mínimo?
Recomendamos desde US$ 30.000.
Frequently asked questions
1. What is Meridian, and what isn't it?
A signal service: a fixed-rule system computes, each afternoon on the US close, what to buy and sell in US stocks and ETFs, and sends you the list. You execute it in your own broker. Meridian doesn't trade your account, has no access to it, holds no money and gives no personal advice: everyone gets the same signals, scaled to their capital.
2. When do the signals arrive?
Monday to Friday, within 3 hours after the US market close. They come by email from [email protected] and, if you connected it, by Telegram. On days with nothing to trade you still get a short "no signals today" email.
3. What do I do with the signals?
Enter them in your broker after the close and before the next open, as market orders (Market or Market-on-Open); they fill at the open on their own. Sells first, then buys, so the cash from the sells funds the buys. You don't need to be at the screen at 9:30 ET if you entered the orders the night before.
4. I missed the open, or skipped an order. What now?
The system is measured with fills at the open; an order filled later in the same session is a small deviation, and an order you never executed is a deviation the system can't see. If you skipped a buy, at some point you'll get the sell for it: just ignore it. If you correct the quantity on your page (or set it to zero), your portfolio and results reflect what you actually hold. What to do with a late order is your call, not ours.
5. Which broker do I need?
Any broker that lets you buy and sell US stocks and ETFs with market orders. We have no agreements with any broker and don't recommend one. Local depositary receipts (e.g. CEDEARs) are not the same instrument (different hours, currency, ratios and liquidity): the signals are built for US tickers and haven't been validated on them.
6. What's the minimum capital?
We recommend from US$ 30,000. The portfolio is spread across about 30 positions; with less, many buys don't reach one whole share and your results drift from the system. The page accepts any amount from $100 to $100,000,000, but below $30,000 you should know that.
7. Do I have to tell you how much capital I have?
No. Signals arrive as a percentage of your capital: your number stays in your browser, we never know it, and your page converts it to quantities. There is also a shares mode (you tell us your capital and each alert carries the exact quantity), enabled on request.
8. How do I change my capital?
From your personal page, using the link from the welcome email (it's also at the bottom of every alert): "Edit" the capital. Changes apply from the next alert. Enter the total you trade with today, not what you deposited.
9. How many trades, and how much time?
There are signals almost every day: in the first seven weeks live there were trades on 32 of 36 sessions. Entering them takes about ten minutes. Some strategies rotate every few days and others hold for months; rebalancing days are the busiest.
10. What about weekends and holidays?
No signals. When the next day is a US market holiday, the alert says so and states that those orders go at the next open (e.g., the Friday before a Monday holiday: "execute on Tuesday").
11. I just joined. What do I get on day one?
An "entry list" with the long-term positions the system holds right now, scaled to you, so you start where the system stands. The fast strategies come in with the following weeks' signals; within one or two weeks your portfolio resembles the system's. If you join on a weekend, the list arrives the same day with Friday's prices and executes on Monday.
12. I didn't get the email.
First check Spam/Promotions and mark it "Not spam". Then open your personal link: the latest alert is always there, even if the email got lost. If on a trading day nothing arrived and your page shows nothing new either, write to [email protected] and we'll resend it.
13. I lost my personal link (or think someone else has it).
The link is your access: it never changes, save it and don't share it. If you lost it, write to us from the email you signed up with and we'll resend the welcome. If you suspect someone else is using it, tell us: we give you a new link and the old one stops working.
14. On how many devices can I open my link?
Two: a phone and a computer. The first one is authorized automatically when you open it. If you open it on another device, we ask for a 6-digit code sent to your registered email; a third device replaces the one you haven't used for the longest time. Your page lists your devices and lets you remove one. Access is personal and non-transferable: sharing it ends the subscription.
15. How do I connect Telegram?
From your page: "Open Telegram" opens the chat with the bot, tap START and you're done. Confirmation may take a few minutes. You keep getting the email too. Telegram messages cannot be forwarded or copied, and the Telegram must be personal, not a group.
16. How do I cancel? What happens to my positions?
At the bottom of your page there's an "Unsubscribe" button; it asks you to confirm and we send you an email. You stop receiving alerts immediately. Any positions you hold are yours and stay in your account: we don't trade anything, so what to do with them is up to you. If you want to come back, write to us and you continue where you left off.
17. How much does it cost?
Nothing today. When a paid plan exists we'll tell you in advance, with a clear price and a cancel button; nobody starts paying without having said yes.
18. What are the returns?
All we can show is how these rules would have traded in the past, net of commissions and slippage: the core (70 % of the portfolio) returned 17.8 % a year from 2016 to 2025 with a −16.1 % max drawdown; the full portfolio, 29.0 % a year from 2022 to 2025 with a −20.2 % max drawdown. Live, with real money, it has been trading since July 26, 2026: the updated figure is on the home page. Too little time to say anything. A backtest is not a promise.
19. It's losing. Is that normal?
Yes, and you should know it before starting: the backtest had 20 % drawdowns, −9 % months, around 4 negative months a year and a 13-month stretch without a new high. The system has no way to avoid them; what it does is follow the rules. If a drop of that size would make you quit, it's better not to start. Staying or leaving is your decision.
20. What data do you keep about me?
Name, email, language, delivery channel, your Telegram chat if you connected it, the signals we sent you, and your capital only if you asked for shares mode. Nothing from your broker: we have no access to your account. What you enter on your page (capital, corrected prices and quantities) stays in your browser and is never sent to a server. Details in the Privacy Policy.
21. The prices and quantities in my portfolio don't match what I bought.
Expected: the page shows the reference price (the last close before the order) and you bought at the next open, at a different price. Tap the quantity or price and replace it with yours; from then on the result is your own. Those corrections and your capital live in that browser: if you open the link from your other device you'll need to enter them again.
